Has everyone noticed how every time Africa is brought up in the media? it's a always a sad picture: hungry children with swollen bellies, surrounded by flies and walking bare feet....And if it's not that, then it's images of civil wars, rebellion, aids or some other sordid story.
Why is the media focusing on the worst side of Africa? It's funny how it is not like that in other continents, that always baffles me. In Africa or Europe, media never show tarnished images of America while they do exist. Not everyone is living in the suburbs and not everyone is having their three healthy meals in the US.
Having lived in France, Senegal and the US I know first hand the realities of each continents and although poverty is dominant in Africa. It is not to the extent portrayed in the media, believe it or not most middle-class families in Africa have domestic help! They don't cook or clean, don't sweep or mop...they have domestic help!
Growing up I didn't even know how to make my own bed, I didn't start washing clothers or cooking until I came to the US. Even though, there were much more opportunities for me in the States professionally.
I am trying to send the message out there that there are paved streets, fantastic resorts and hotels, great restaurants and movie theaters in Africa...regardless of what is shown on tv. You might already know this if you've travelled there, otherwise if the TV set is all you have to go by then you're probably not considering going.
I am just trying to reduce the discomfort of many black folks when africa is brought up on tv or during conversations. It doesn't have to be this way, Africans or African-Americans not wanting to be associated with Africa in any way shape or form...that's pretty bad. Yet it is a widespread condition.
Let's change this through dialog and spreading the truth.
Today, as our nation faces some of it's most trying times, many individuals have found themselves questioning the future. From the multi-trillion dollar loss in retirement funding to the massive number of foreclosures the financial woes of Wall Street have echoed in our ears. Yet, like a theif sneaking in the back door, fear seems to have made residence in the hearts of so many individuals in this time of financial uncertainty in our nation. Despite the Chaos at Wall Street, this country is still a place of Amazing Opportunity For us it's "THE PERFECT STORM" That's why we need to help everyone we can. For those who PANIC, they will be on the losing end of this season of transition for our country. If they get on board NOW they will have a season that will change their lives forever! For those that look into the muck and mire and see the opportunity, they will be able to find the diamonds in the rough.
For EXAMPLE: While some folks are complaining that this is a "terrible time to sell a home", others are seizing the moment by saying, "this is a GREAT time to buy!" Look For The Good In Everything: Two young twin boys were being examined by researchers as a result of their very distinctive personalities. One boy was an eternal optimist, always happy and full of cheer. The other boy was an unfortunate pessimist, who could'nt seem to find a moment's peace or happiness dispite his fortunate surroundings.
Researchers placed the pessimistic boy in a room full of every toy a boy could wish for.Meanwhile the optimist boy in a room of horse manure. After a short five minutes, the pessimist began to cry with great emotional outbursts. Researchers opened the door and said "Son, what is the matter?" You have every toy in here a boy could want."
The pessimist replied. "There are so many toys, I don't know which to play with." In the other room they heard sqealing and laughter, they peered in the room of horse manure to see the boy jumping up and down in the manure and throwing it around in the air with glee. They quickly opened the door and said, "Boy what on eaarh are you so happy about?"
The boy replied with great excitement, "With all this manure, there is surely a pony in here somewhere!!!!
This story shows us the power of perception. How do you view the "manure" around you? If you grumble in pessimism, you will miss the opportunities.
ELIMINATE FEAR
WHAT IS FEAR? It is the False Expectations Appearing Real in our lives. It is presuming the worst. exspecting grave misfortune. Fear is an anticipation that something bad is going to happen. Worry is the partner of Fear. It is the manifested bloom that emerges when fear takes root in our lives. As worry grows, anxiety, stress and a host of other symptoms bloom and radically change our perspective, our health, and our ability to think clearly.
Even when the world at large is in "crisis mode," don't let fear rule your heart. By eliminating fear, you will not only see more clearly, operate more efficiently, be more open to creativity, and have a better outlook, but you will also be adding years to your life and peace to your soul.

The healthcare establishment of the United States is willfully and secretly committing a travesty that makes the infamous Tuskegee Experiment all but inconsequential by comparison.This alarming accusation is the crux of A Modern-Day Tuskegee by Dr. David W. Moskowitz. He further asserts, “As in Tuskegee, patients are paying with their lives. Unlike Tuskegee, scientific curiosity isn’t the motivation, just greed.” Shocking indeed.
In 2002, Dr. Moskowitz published a method to reverse diabetic and hypertensive kidney failure. He declares his treatment works for whites, blacks, and Hispanics, i.e. the entire world.“Currently, 100,000 patients go on dialysis in the US each year. My method could prevent 90% of whites, and 95% of African Americans and Native Americans, from losing their kidney function.”
Dr. Moskowitz’ article goes on to explain that he has presented his research to a broad spectrum of the medical research community and while his findings have garnered private accolades they have been systematically buried from general medical exposure. Dr. Moskowitz tested his therapy for 9 years on 1000 patients. “The head of Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield, with over 100 million patients, told me that my 1,000 patients weren't enough.”Come back when you have 100,000. Dr Lawrence Agodoa, called my data "beautiful" in a private conference call in early 2004. He said the rules of the NIH, his employer, refused to let him endorse a company. That's the same response the American Diabetes Association gave me, even though they partially funded the underlying research.”
Dr. Moskowitz believes he is being ignored because of the financial threat his treatment constitutes to Charity and Research institutions serving the diabetic community. “Only later did it dawn on me that they'd be eliminating 90% of their own jobs along with 90% of their budget, which would terrify any bureaucrat.Apparently, no non-profit wants to repeat the mistake of the March of Dimes, which cured their raison d'etre in the 1950s, and has been a shadow of its former self ever since.”
The indictments made in “A Modern-Day Tuskegee” are provocative and dangerous, even more so because for many they are completely believable. Memories/knowledge of the Tuskegee Experiment has instilled distrust akin to terror of the medical community amongst African Americans for decades. In the midst of catastrophic inaccessibility to healthcare, this present allegation could ignite a breach of trust that could potentially take generations to repair. Our President and our neighbors are faced with reviving a system in imminent collapse. A credible charge of blatant corruption from a system whose primary interest already appears to be profit not people could well prove the back breaking straw.

Can too much information be dangerous for you? It may not seem like it, but the answer to that question is YES! This is exactly what happens when you try to quit smoking; the information overload can become very overwhelming. To be successful in kicking the habit for good, keeping things simple with an easy approach is a good way to keep the frustration from getting out of hand.
When trying to keep things easy, having an organized plan in place can really pay dividends in your process to stop smoking. When you un-complicate things you will find it a lot less stressful and easier to deal with. But keeping your discipline with the simplicity of things is your key to your success.
Are there certain things such as your surroundings or particular situations which cause you to pick up that cigarette and smoke? Is it a stress relief in helping you calm down, or contain emotions when they get out of hand? This is generally the second main reason that smokers continually smoke (the first being the natural addiction to nicotine) Although they both go hand in hand but being able to identify your moods or emotions and finding solutions to them other than smoking is an absolute must.
I believe in creating your own environment around you. With that being said, I find it very important to re-build your surroundings. This may even include asking friends or family members to not smoke around you, changing things with in your daily life/routine that reminds you of smoking, or even just changing a few things in your home to. Simple changes go a long way!
If you haven’t already, find a hobby! Not only is this a must for all people, but I find this to be especially true for individuals who are trying to stop smoking. This has a HUGE effect on your daily life, how you feel and finding something that really interests you. This will enable your brain to stay occupied while being able to enjoy its favorite pass time. This is highly under rated, but I find it to be the most effective method to help the process. Remember, you must find something that you really enjoy doing. For example, sports, activities, reading comics, drawing…etc.
Are these a little too simple? Maybe! But that is the beauty of keeping it simple. Most would figure that these are a waste of time, but if you combine these natural techniques to help support your current methods to stop smoking you will find that it helps a great deal in being able to cope with your withdrawals while you are in process of quitting smoking.
With so much information surrounding us on quitting smoking, it is very easy to become frustrated and overwhelmed. This ultimately leads to not being able to kick the habit for good. This is due to the fact that our thoughts cannot focus on the important factors that require you to actually quit smoking.
What ends up happening is that we tend to jump from one method to another. This only allows us to focus our attention to each method with a specific short period of time before we jump to the next. This is a classic example as to why too much information on a single subject can become more dangerous than good and smoking falls into one of those subjects! So to break it down, I want to get into some simple, yet effective tips that can help guide you with your process in trying to quit smoking.
Once you have come to the final decision that you are ready to completely quit smoking for good, it is time to start planning for your success. Creating a foundation to build on is the first step. Anyhow ... just wanted to let you know - it's folly. Google Bot isn't going to give you 10 backlinks for that! It's going to register 1 set of keyword anchor text URL combos. Well - thats the rule of thumb as we say - as only Google knows for sure. My testing with the sites in BGM 3.0 tells me this is accurate as well.
Rule of thumb ... 3 links to a domain MAX per page. More than one keyword URL combo is a waste of time. The above only gets you a single link to that keyword combo - so you're just wasting bandwitdh and risking account deletion. Just becuase you CAN bombard an html webform with your anchor text links - doesn't mean you should.
The above example is pointless really - this will yield far better SEO results

Why Africa has such a bad imag Why Africa has such a bad image?
Has everyone noticed how every time Africa is brought up in the media? it's a always a sad picture: hungry children with swollen bellies, surrounded by flies and walking bare feet....And if it's not that, then it's images of civil wars, rebellion, aids or some other sordid story.
Why is the media focusing on the worst side of Africa? It's funny how it is not like that in other continents, that always baffles me. In Africa or Europe, media never show tarnished images of America while they do exist. Not everyone is living in the suburbs and not everyone is having their three healthy meals in the US.
Having lived in France, Senegal and the US I know first hand the realities of each continents and although poverty is dominant in Africa. It is not to the extent portrayed in the media, believe it or not most middle-class families in Africa have domestic help! They don't cook or clean, don't sweep or mop...they have domestic help!
Growing up I didn't even know how to make my own bed, I didn't start washing clothers or cooking until I came to the US. Even though, there were much more opportunities for me in the States professionally.
I am trying to send the message out there that there are paved streets, fantastic resorts and hotels, great restaurants and movie theaters in Africa...regardless of what is shown on tv. You might already know this if you've travelled there, otherwise if the TV set is all you have to go by then you're probably not considering going.
I am just trying to reduce the discomfort of many black folks when africa is brought up on tv or during conversations. It doesn't have to be this way, Africans or African-Americans not wanting to be associated with Africa in any way shape or form...that's pretty bad. Yet it is a widespread condition.
Let's change this through dialog and spreading the truth.

Look For The Good In Everything: Two young twin boys were being examined by researchers as a result of their very distinctive personalities. The boy replied with great excitement, "With all this manure, there is surely a pony in here somewhere!!!!

WHAT IS FEAR? It is the False Expectations Appearing Real in our lives. It is presuming the worst. exspecting grave misfortune. Fear is an anticipation that something bad is going to happen. A Modern Day Tuskegee? A Modern Day Tuskegee?
The healthcare establishment of the United States is willfully and secretly committing a travesty that makes the infamous Tuskegee Experiment all but inconsequential by comparison. This alarming accusation is the crux of A Modern-Day Tuskegee by Dr. David W. Moskowitz. He further asserts, “As in Tuskegee, patients are paying with their lives. Unlike Tuskegee, scientific curiosity isn’t the motivation, just greed.” Shocking indeed.
In 2002, Dr. Moskowitz published a method to reverse diabetic and hypertensive kidney failure. He declares his treatment works for whites, blacks, and Hispanics, i.e. the entire world. “Currently, 100,000 patients go on dialysis in the US each year. My method could prevent 90% of whites, and 95% of African Americans and Native Americans, from losing their kidney function.”
Dr. Moskowitz’ article goes on to explain that he has presented his research to a broad spectrum of the medical research community and while his findings have garnered private accolades they have been systematically buried from general medical exposure. Dr. Moskowitz tested his therapy for 9 years on 1000 patients. “The head of Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield, with over 100 million patients, told me that my 1,000 patients weren't enough.”Come back when you have 100,000. Dr Lawrence Agodoa, called my data "beautiful" in a private conference call in early 2004. He said the rules of the NIH, his employer, refused to let him endorse a company. That's the same response the American Diabetes Association gave me, even though they partially funded the underlying research.”
Dr. Moskowitz believes he is being ignored because of the financial threat his treatment constitutes to Charity and Research institutions serving the diabetic community. “Only later did it dawn on me that they'd be eliminating 90% of their own jobs along with 90% of their budget, which would terrify any bureaucrat. Apparently, no non-profit wants to repeat the mistake of the March of Dimes, which cured their raison d'etre in the 1950s, and has been a shadow of its former self ever since.”
The indictments made in “A Modern-Day Tuskegee” are provocative and dangerous, even more so because for many they are completely believable. Memories/knowledge of the Tuskegee Experiment has instilled distrust akin to terror of the medical community amongst African Americans for decades. In the midst of catastrophic inaccessibility to healthcare, this present allegation could ignite a breach of trust that could potentially take generations to repair. Our President and our neighbors are faced with reviving a system in imminent collapse. A credible charge of blatant corruption from a system whose primary interest already appears to be profit not people could well prove the back breaking straw.

Anyhow ... just wanted to let you know - it's folly. Google Bot isn't going to give you 10 backlinks for that! It's going to register 1 set of keyword anchor text URL combos. Well - thats the rule of thumb as we say - as only Google knows for sure. My testing with the sites in BGM 3.0 tells me this is accurate as well.
Rule of thumb ... 3 links to a domain MAX per page. More than one keyword URL combo is a waste of time. The above only gets you a single link to that keyword combo - so you're just wasting bandwitdh and risking account deletion. Just becuase you CAN bombard an html webform with your anchor text links - doesn't mean you should.
The above example is pointless really - this will yield far better SEO results

If you have a link or two sprinkled in the post - that means likely your backlinks are getting spidered faster too. As with all things - use responsibly.
